Lol, this thread is still around? Funny really, I ended up buying a different SSD after spouting endlessly about the Intel.

It's 2010 now and SSD technology has moved on. The current SSDs to look at nowadays are the OCZ Vertex 2E (with a SandForce SF-1500 controller) and the Crucial RealSSD C300 (supports SATA 6Gbps).
New Desktop: Core i5 2500K @ 4.6Ghz | Asus P8P67-M Pro | 8GB Corsair Vengeance | CM Hyper 212 Plus | KFA2 GTX 560 Ti | 128GB Crucial C300 + 1TB Samsung F3 | CM Silent Pro Gold 600W | Silverstone FT03-B | Samsung XL2270HD | Windows 7 x64 SP1

And those who have an intel will most likely still make use of this tool...so what´s your point?

Nice Sepp, does the system configuration tuner increase performance?
When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" - I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter than "Yes"

r3loaded: ok...np

G: no...it´s just a gui to be able the see if the SSD is running under good conditions. It checks for the usual settings which are recommended when running an SSD (defrag, superfetch, etc.)
