Ok, I'm gonna step up to the plate here... Personally, I thought it was a tragic loss that Amy Winehouse died. There was a talent there, the earlier recordings show a bright young star. I'm not a fan of her, nor do I condone her actions, but to think that a young person was deteriorating in front of the world, and to end in an outcome that we all knew was on the cards, I find immensely sad. There are so many people on this self-destructive path, most of us will at least know one person in our life time. Addiction/depression is an illness, and I hope her death will encourage some of these people to get the help they need...

I personally saw her as an English Britney Spears, not because of her musical style but just the fact she was a young talent that got influenced by other people and went on the path of destruction. Seems she took the ultimate career jump start and died like MJ.

She was already a pisshead before she got famous. She pretty much lived in her local - literally. She kept clothes and other belongings in there and "slept" there most nights. If only Russel Brand, Joss Stone and Piers Morgan can meet a similar speedy end it'll save me quite a bit of time on my "celebrity" list when I finally snap and go postal.

Saw all the idiot fans (idiots not for liking her music but for all gathering around her house crying as if they'd lost their own child) on the news last night and I lol'd when among all the flowers and cards I noticed someone had left a bottle of vodka.
