the games a bit meh, maps are massive but flag placements make them a cluster fuck and make jets pointless.

Hit reg is all over the place, you die without know where you was shot from and sometimes from when you are clearly behind cover.

DICE made a lot of broken promises to PC players and claim that all the "extra PC features" will come further down the line. But quite frankly, these are features which should have been in at launch. They just wanted to push the game out the door early enough to compete with MW3. I feel if they had released this game in march say (when BC2 launched) they could have incorporated all the features that they promised and in general polish the game up.

So, unless DICE pull their fingers out over the next month or so, I think this game is going to suffer the same fate as BC2 and would have the longevity of BF2 or BF2142.

unfortunately

this comment really sums up my views, DICE pulled the rose tinted glasses over us and made the game into something it just isn't.

DICE built up all the hype, with "massive" maps, when infact only 10% of the map has the flags in it with all the rest being open, unused space which cannot be accessed unless you are in a jet.

/end rant.

Just been to midnight launch, was the only PC gamer there. Although I did get to laugh at everyone else as I just read the tweet saying that consoles were having 'networking issues'. Atleast I can go back tomorrow for a free t-shirt though.

only played it briefly on my new PC and it's a far superior experience when the computer can reasonably handle it.

looks like it'll be fun once i've learned the maps...im sure some will be good and some will suck.

From the couple of hours I played of it today I must say a lot of the battlefield is used on the 64player servers. Your never short of people to shoot at or run away from unless your in your own base. I must admit its one of those games where I couldn't see myself playing the multiplayer on my own. I think the fact I was in a squad of 4 people who I knew and we spent the entire time working as a balanced team (medic, support, engy etc) covering each other moving around as a team and marking enemies really made the game fun. I think the game could be very fun with a team with several squads of people who know each other working as a big collective team.

Too bad the squads are like a double edged sword. I still remember of my BF2 days, a good squad with both a good leader and members are sure able to turn the tables of a round. On the other hand when the squads are full with noobs, or in worst cave not a single squad around, you' re fucked and will get massive nadespam fest for the whole round.

Don't know what they did with the "unlimited" nades you have. Would be a shame if it was still around though.

They should pit Amazon 'reviewers' against Metacritic 'reviewers' in an ultimate battle of the dipshits.
