I was reading the bit in the forum where it explains how and when your res slot starts working and came across this gem:
"If your reserved slot is still not working (and you've tried a server which has defiantly changed maps since you donated) make a post in this forum so your slot can be checked by one of the members, it's likely you've entered some information wrong."
I love the fact that your server change maps defiantly!!
