Clicking servers I get disconnected on 6 of them

Hi,

New to GTFO so apologies if this is covered somewhere, I searched for 'disconnected' in this part of the forum and found nothing.

Anyway like the title says I click 6 of the servers and only get a 'disconnected' pop up.

I've got the GTFO TF2 GUI.

What does this mean?

Here's one. If I click on one of the servers this pops up immediately. I can usually get on one or two but never all of them.

The small thing says.

"Disconnected" and under it

"Server is full".

Problem solved.

Like Cactur has already said (albeit a bit abruptly), if a server is full you will get that status message. Unfortunately for most poor sods, GTFO servers are generally full.

However, I see you have donated for reserved slots. Therefore using the GUI next time to connect should mean you will not get that message and connect straight away and kick some poor non slot holder from the server in the process.

idea: look for the server normally via 'find servers', and use the auto retry function.

as i believe it works, it places you in a que of people doing the same, and puts you in [or just alerts you, depending which option you select] when a slot opens, or if you have a reserve slot, it puts you in when a non-slot holder dies. or something like that.

Yeah I checked, double checked then checked again and I'm not in there. I thought I found me and had it in my sig for a while until I checked it with my Steam ID and found I'd appropriated someone elses stats!

My Steam account name is joliet_jake but ingame it's just Jake. I can't find either.

If this is not you, it would explain why your reserved slot isnt working.

Please double check your Steam ID. Download this file (right click, save as) and open it with your browser.

Using that script my steamID is 0:1:5387850 which is radically different to the one I stuck in the form when donating!

I got the one I submitted from a Steam Connection Log txt file in Program Files > Steam > Logs.

Example from the log:

I have updated my profile with the correct SteamID.

apologies for not getting back to you sooner, been offline for a few days.

but yeah, i still occasionally get this issue. i've noticed the 'steam' part of my steam id isnt in caps like the rest on the the 'reserve slot holder' list, so could that be it?

i stopped having this issue for a while, but its been happening the past two days D:

i've doublechecked that the steam id in the recent donors list was correct, and it was fine, so yeah =/

I'm getting disconneted on one or two servers too tonight, checked and both are full.

Hopefully this is sorted....!

It's seems to be when they are full I get 'disconnected' although it's hard to tell because people can drop out/join a game at any point.
