Connecting To Our Servers - Reserved Slot / Normal

GTFO have created customised Game Menu files for use with DODS, TF2 and HL2DM. They allow all players to connect to their favourite GTFO servers quickly and easily. They are also particularly useful for Reserved Slot holders (only applies to DODS and TF2) as they allow players to connect instantly at the click of a mouse.

1. DODS

Method:
- Download this file: DODS GameMenu.res (Right click, Save)
- Place the above in the following directory (based on default steam installation, adjust for your install path): C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\account\day of defeat source\dod\resource where account is your steam account/login name.

If you have an existing GameMenu.res file, you may want to back it up, simply rename it GameMenu.res.old - however by default the file wont exist.

2. TF2

Method:
- Download this file: TF2 Reserve Slot GUI
- Extract the files from the zip archive and place them in the location below(based on default steam installation, adjust for your install path): C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\account\team fortress 2\tf\resource where account is your steam account/login name.
- If your are prompt to merge folders and/or overwrite files, confirm this action (click yes).

3. HL2DM

Method:
- Download this file: HL2DM GameMenu.res (Right click, Save)
- Place the above in the following directory (based on default steam installation, adjust for your install path): C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\account\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\resource where account is your steam account/login name.

If you have an existing GameMenu.res file, you may want to back it up, simply rename it GameMenu.res.old - however by default the file wont exist.

To uninstall simply delete the files from the particular folder and your games will revert to the standard menus.

The updated tf2 GameMenu.res (manual method) doesnÂ´t work for me. It has only the 7 servers like before.

Just thought I'd let you know that you've missed out the "Report A Bug" button from this version of the GameMenu.res. Sepp's attachment has it in whereas the official one doesn't.

New file for TF2 that should have the recent changes included:

Name changes on #07 #08 and #12
Port change on #12

I also tagged the servers with the respawn timers setting. If you donÂ´t like that simply open the .res file with notepad and edit as you wish. ItÂ´s just a simple text file.

prob one of the chars is just not allowed or not possible in codepage of the system somewhere.... and not working therefore.

You should rename to a11fu5k3dup just for this, then you probably can change it after the slot has been registered. Maybe G will do that for you, i don't know.

His name in SourceBans is a11fu5k3dup, I don't think the name is important though it's the ID that matter but that seems to be correct. G will have to have a look see.
