Engineer Building Exploits: Rules & Reporting

What is a Building Exploit
On GTFO Team Fortress 2 servers certain areas in maps are designated as exploit areas. These places are voted on by the clan and take into account the methods to build there, the advantages of building there and the ease that the other team can destroy the buildings. Primarily this last part refers to a Spy being able to sap the buildings although this is not the sole deciding factor.

What is the Penalty
Building in these areas will usually result in your buildings being destroyed and a message appearing in the middle of the screen informing everybody that you have been exploiting. If a report is made in our bans section from a player, along with supporting evidence, then you may be given a short ban to hopefully bring the matter to your attention. In these circumstances the ban may be overturned if it is deemed to be a genuine mistake. Persistent offenders will receive bans in according with our general bans policy.

Reporting Building Exploit Offenders
If you spot someone building in an exploit area and no admin is present or available to deal with it at the time then you can report it in the bans section of the forum. A screenshot showing the building and who it belongs to will be required for any action to be taken.
