Im neutral to this at the moment as i am currently away from the field due to my DODS being for lack of a more technical term, "fucked to shit".

My lerp seems to be 100.ms by default which is wrong and can only get it down to 15.4ms . Cannot seem to get the smooth gameplay i had about 2 weeks ago. ...

However, whilst there may be new admins and senior admins. All members with the GTFO tag are equals and all should be considered representitives for GTFOgaming as a whole.

At the moment i believe we need to decide what rates we will allow and what rates we will ask to be changed. As rates has become quite a big issue in the past few months and i believe some people know all about them and some people have never heard of them.

I think it would be profitable if we could get a stickied rates thread to clearly outline our view on rates, what is acceptable and where we draw the line etc...

If anyone has different rates to that, they are banned on sight for rate hacking.

I strongly advise you to sit quietly and accept this rather short ban, at least until G is available.
G will do as he see's fit. Right now, your're biggest enemy is lack of self control.

Giving yourself an unfair advantage over everyone else in the server is a damn good reason.
While everyone is using the standard default interp rate, and keeping a balanced playing field, you are basically exploiting it to your advantage.
You are getting updates on the enemy players quicker than the rest and superior hitbox counts.
Granted, anyone can change it, but anyone can also receive a 1-3 day ban for doing so.
You have earned yourself a 7 day ban for the complete disrespect you have shown to the Admins while addressing this issue.
Either follow the rules and play fair, or go elsewhere.


This is just another reason why we need to have locked rates which are automatically enforced.

Unfortunately, you are not reading it right.

He was banned for having "bad" rates*. The rate in question was his 'interp'
We're banning him longer not because he whines about it, but because in the sapce of an hour he received 3 warnings form more than 1 Admin about the same thing. The blatent lack of respect toward GTFO Admins caused the increase.

By "bad", i refer to the fact his rates were "good" for him alone, giving him an unfair advantage over everyone else on the server. Someshots looked so much like an aimbot, because he was getting the kills before he could have had clear LOS.
