I reckon it's time to start differentiating the servers a bit now.

Any suggestions on what map cycles and game modes you would like to see on the servers?

At present #6 is a conquest servers, while the others are all rush.

Possibly an Arica Harbour only server and Valparaiso only, they're great maps imho...
When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" - I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter than "Yes"

what i would propose is something like this,

server 1 - rush

server 2 - hardcore rush

Server 3 - Arica Harbour (Rush, then when the dlc come out on the 30th of march see if you can add the conquest version aswell)

Server 4 - Valparaiso

Server 5 - Conquest

Server 6 - Hardcore Conquest

Hardcore mode although i thought it would be as annoying as f*ck - actually is a bit more fun than normal mode - it stops the "i have to sit here for 2 minutes to wait for that annoying box to stop flashing over my head.. oh hang on i CANT keep still as the sniper will shoot me through the bloody wall" feeling! It also helps the 'team' part because you need to know where your team members are, where your medic is, where your ammo guy is and where you can get your tank repaired too!

(also sort of stops that "i shot you 300 times, you shot me once - why arent you dead gahhhh raggeequitt!!!! omgz!1111" feeling too!)

So, Hardcore is VERY welcome as far as im concerned!

I was thinking something like this:
1-rush rotation all map (captain obvious)
2-rush valparaiso only (great map,5step,perfect mix of chopper tanks and infantry)
3-rush arica only (awesome map,5 step,1st step is great for vehicle fight then 4 step of cqc)
4-HC rush rotation all map (captain obvious)
5-conquest rotation (no atacama desert,this map is great for squad rush or competitive 8v8 conquest but can be frustrating on a public server)
6-conquest panama canal only (great map for conquest mode,4 flag,perfect mix of tank and infantry fight ,maybe the most "teamplay oriented" conquest map)

P.S. I do not know what admin tool you are using but you should try thishttp://g4g.pl/bc2guardian even Dice use this on their official server

I would say to avoid it for now,

(Note: banning currently crashes game server. This error has been reported to DICE)

Normal mode is so stupid, like KARR so nicely explained, and I think most (read: everyone who's played more then 5 games) will stick to Hardcore.

i myself will be sticking to hardcore servers as well. Just cant see myself going back to normal servers so as long as we have 1 or 2 HC ones im happy

The Conquest server seems to be very popular as this is full most of the time compared to the other servers.

I'm thinking we should convert another server into Conquest and see how that goes. Maybe move Valparaiso
on with Arica Harbour and have those 2 maps on a cycle.

Also, we could potentially have all of the servers as Hardcore servers but with player spotting and mini map on and take kill cam off. So it would basically like it is now but with Hardcore mode on. If you can select to have Hud on, this would also be good.

I think hardcore servers should be hardcore.

Killcam will be disabled on all servers when I get a chance.

Even if we have normal servers I think we should get another Conquest up and running, even if it's just another rotation one. I think it would be quite popular.

Has anyone played Squad rush yet? I was just having a run around on a server at lunch time. Was quite fun, but I dont think it appeals to everyone

yeah <3 squad rush ,i was a "competitive guy" and ex clan is gonig to play squadrush on ESL and CLANBASE but i really dont like the current ruleset so i will stick with 32man rush/conquest until they change the ruleset

those rules do seem strange.

They shouldnt allow unlocks to be used, surely it would be alot more balanced/fair to have only the weapons available at the start to be used

lately noone is playing on #2 and #4 (valparaiso only/ arica only),what about changing one of them into a Arica/valparaiso/laguna ? (this kind of rotation seems popular these day)
