Why you want to join: I've been an active player on the GTFO TF2 servers for a fair while now and have enjoyed some of the best game play I can remember in about 11 years of OLG. Not only have I found the servers fast, fun and well managed but I've made a good base of regular on-line friends of which I thoroughly enjoy playing with. I've been a donator to the GTFO servers for around a year now and plan to continue this whilst ever I play on these servers.
I'm very familiar with working within a team over the internet - I have 5 years experience of working as an active staff member of the IRC network QuakeNet of which I spent 3 years as a network administrator (opper). As such, I'm highly familiar with "on-line" dispute resolution (I think we can all agree there is a big difference between face to face disputes and on-line disputes in how quickly things escalate!). I have since retired from my IRC duties after 10 years on QuakeNet but remain a permanent feature of the network - there are some habbits that die hard
) Aside from good interpersonal skills I'm also capable with networking, PHP, SQL, C, *nix systems.Spreading server costs is not an issue.
