Life's Too Short

Postby kugs » 06 Nov 2011, 08:06

Preview on iplayer. Really looking forward to this. Big Gervais fan and love Warwick since Willow. All his films (Gervais) have been shit, so been hoping he'd get back to comedy/directing.

Personally I can't stand Gervais - one trick pony imo - but I can see why you could find him funny!

Watch this:

I used to think the exact same until I watched this segment of his stand up.

Yeah, alright, I concede that that's pretty amusing!

Same here. Been looking forward to this for ages. Been a fan of the podcast and when they (Ricky, Steve Merchant and Karl Pilkington) started doing XFM years ago.

Can't wait :D

I listened to radio shows and podcasts a few times. Started getting bored of Gervais and rooting for Pilkington quite early on (Gervais' screechy laugh makes me wanna lamp him). From what I've read him and Merchant will be mostly background in this new series, and Warwick Davis will have the screen.
On another note keep seeing adverts for Steve Merchant's stand up. Anyone seen it? Any good?

I fucking hated the office and most of his films, didn't find them funny one bit, but his stand-up, extras, XFM, podcasts, Ricky Gervais show are spot on. Warwick is a great sport around ricky when it comes to taking the piss out of him so looking forward to watching this. Hope it turns out well :)

The radio shows with Ricky, Karl and Steven where known in Norway too, some years ago. At least at my university. Karl Pilkington has to be the most epic person alive.
