Just another group riding off the back of the media interest of the PSN fiasco, they'll go away when people stop paying attention to them hence why they decided to DDoS a load of gaming websites/services to attract attention to themselves (pretty sure that's the actual goal, rather than just for lulz as they claim).

Although I applaud finding holes in network security in order to benefit the stakeholder, it's unfortunate that so many groups go about it in a black-hat manner.

Reckon a few of them will be in trouble now.

I doubt they are using their own pcs to do the attacks. probably through an army of compromised PCs. Some poor scrote will get his doors kicked in for downloading dodgy office (that happened to have a rootkit installed). For good measure lulz will have installed some heavy encrypted folders - that should get the poor sap locked up for a while.

Seems it might not be them after all, or if it is they aren't admitting it.

He owned an IRC server that they used, but they also use Rizon, Efnet, 2600 and AnonyOps servers so this guy was probably just an easy target that was associated with LulzSec in some way. Of course, that doesn't go to say he hasn't been part of any other hacking activities that made him of interest to the authorities.

As I said ... taking down the CIA (or any government security agency) is a bad move... Even just try port scanning MI5 for the lulz*
