Minecraft

http://www.minecraft.net/

I will admit at first i hated it, but now i fucking love it! :D

Basically you mine all through the day then at night you need to find some shelter (which you make) from all the spiders e.t.c.

for £8 you cant grumble, and its got multiplayer aswell.

Anyone else got this?

Bought it yesterday, and setup a multiplayer server for my friends. It's awesome!

There's a load of vids up on http://www.youtube.com/user/davidr64yt to show off more of it, the site itself doesn't really do it justice.

Yeh it is PayPal, although who knows maybe he'll introduce alternate payment methods due to this - http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2010/09 ... 00k-euros/

Thrilled to hear other people are enjoying this game aswell :)

I've heard a lot of good things about this game too, but I haven't gotten into it yet. don't think I will, simply because I don't have the time for another time-nommin' game (neglecting TF2 already).

but SeaNanners from youtube/Machinima has some cool vids about the game. certainly made me want to try it out.

you can find the rest for yourselves if you care to watch 'em

http://www.youtube.com/user/davidr64yt# ... bh4EexJO4I is the link to the first one.

You guys still play this? I've started playing it, and now i understand how fun this game actually is.

I built a house, and inside i dug a hole, and now finally i actually reached the bottom of the world. There are blocks there that you cant destroy, but one of the "floor" blocks i managed to destroy, and i could see something blue down there, probably the sky (covering the map from all sides i guess).

I haven't found diamond yet, only redstone and gold. Have you guys tried to reach the bottom of the world? I also built a tower so high that i reached the top, it was just impossible to build any higher.

It is very addictive.

You get to make your own house (although i cant find enough bricks so i chose glass!)
Even with its own welcoming sign...

Home Sweet Home!

And i have this chicken that even though ALL my doors are closed keeps on getting in somehow. Don't know why but i feel like its poking its tongue out at me......

chicken.jpg
Get out of my house, Chicken!

EDIT: Posted that, went back indoors and.....

Oh bloody hell, where are all the damn chickens coming from!!!!
