We must act if we want to continue to be one of the best.
We lose players all the time to other servers, why?
We need more server admins.
And why not try something new
Perhaps we should extend the points system to two months.
Give them 10 Best players reserved slot for one month.
Try to fix any event. For example a fun Friday night a month without points and without a team speak all talk to everyone and you can vote on a map. Maybe using the friendly fire.
But for this to work we need more server admins.
Just a thought that we need something new.

In my opinion the biggest problem is that the only active server is Flash. You should try to arrange events on the other servers too or then gather a few friends and join another server in hope of randomers joining. GTFO servers are the best vanilla servers out there, people will notice this if you revive the other servers. Flash is fun, but it might be a slight clusterf--- for new players due to it's fast pace and small places. Maps like avalanche and palermo have long distances and maybe are a fit slower paced, so it might help new players and random players enjoy games more.

All ideas are welcome, if any of the DODS admins would be willing to set up events on the servers or have certain things on the servers changed then let me know and I'll get it sorted as soon as I can. One of the main problems with DODS and filling our servers now is on average there is only 3500 people playing the game daily globally so we will struggle for numbers no matter what we do.

As long as you don't add gameplay changing mods I'm happy. OFC I'd want a rotation, but that is probably hard to without losing even more players. It's true that Dods is dying a bit, but events like this christmas present thing really help it come back to life, atleast for a while.
