New Zealand Earthquake

Some of you may have already heard about this on the news, but it seems to have dropped off a little because no one died!

Found a cool map at http://www.christchurchquakemap.co.nz/ it shows the original 7.1 earthquake from last Friday and then each aftershock. Some fairly savage shaking going on. I've got quite a few family members living there including my brother. Pretty sure Gash's brother lives there as well.

Thanks for posting Fission. My other half - Bat Guano is a Kiwi and was very interested to hear how things were getting on since the quake...so sad t see some of those gorgeous old building demolished. Do you know what the plans are for the cathedral? Are they tearing it all down?
