Reserved Slots DODS And TF2

At present we're only offering reserved slots on DoD:S and TF2.

So, what is a reserved slot, and how does our system work?

A reserved slot will give you access to all of our DODS or TF2 servers whenever you want even if the server is full. If one of our servers is full i.e. 32/32 you dont have to wait for someone to leave in order to get on, as it will remove a non-slot holder automatically to make room for you... VIP treatment!

DODS
A £3 donation will get you a reserved slot on all our DODS servers for 1 month.
A £7 donation will get you a reserved slot on all our DODS servers for 3 months.

TF2
A £3 donation will get you a reserved slot on all our TF2 servers for 1 month.
A £7 donation will get you a reserved slot on all our TF2 servers for 3 months.

When class achievements are released we impose class restrictions on our TF2 servers to stop the stampede of people trying to get unlocks all at once and ruining the game but, as a reserved slot holder, you are immune from class restrictions. TF2 Only for now.

DODS AND TF2
A £4 donation will get you a reserved slot on all our DODS AND TF2 servers for 1 month.
A £10 donation will get you a reserved slot on all our DODS AND TF2 servers for 3 whole months.

In Summary what you get:
- Ability to get on when server is full (duh!)
- Immunity from Class Restrictions (TF2 only)
- Immunity from High Ping Kicker
- You do not see ingame adverts
- Shiny Blue Donator tag or Gold tag (For our most valued donators) on the Forums.

To get your reserved slot donate the right amount and select the game(s) here. It is vital that you enter your STEAM ID in the correct format. If you dont, your reserved slot will not be set up instantly, and you will have to contact myself or al via pm or email admin[at]gtfogaming.co.uk. Steam ID must be in the format STEAM_X:X:XXXXXXXX. After donation, you will be instantly added to the donor list, and your reserved slot will be set up.

Updated, automated and instant reserved slot setup in place. It's vital steam id is entered in the format STEAM_X:X:XXXXXXXX or it will not work, and you will have to contact myself or al, or email admin[at]gtfogaming.co.uk

thanks...but your slot wont work for the moment because you entered the steam ID wrong! can you double check it and email admin@gtfogaming.co.uk ? Is this you: http://www.gtfogaming.co.uk/hlstatsx/hl ... ayer=19168

GTFO. G can then alter it later and then it should work.

Reg, Cactuar and Obscuredbycows told me last night that i needed to have my steam ID in my forum profile in order for the reserve slot to take effect automatically, which i didnt have when i made my donation.

i put it in now though, so could you double check everything is in order please?

i downloaded the GUI mod, so thats all good n' fine.

it uses the steam id you enter on the form on the donation page.

Clord: Found the 'bug', there were some anomalous settings in the News forum.

There are ingame adverts, kinda, its the ones promoting our site and reserved slots. "Join us at GTFOGaming.co.uk", "Tired of waiting to join our servers? Get a RESERVED SLOT!" etc.

whatÂ´s the best/recommended way to renew a reserved slot holding?
Should i wait till the current one runs out or can i just do another donation and you add the additional time automatically?

best to donate on the day it expires i think. G will be able to tell you the best way so wait for him to answer.

Wait until the day your slot runs out, and renew it as you if you were getting it for the first time.

This should be the best way, I'll keep an eye on things and post if you have any questions/notice anything and I'll take a look at the automated backened.

Just a query (not a request yet!) is there a way of donating a lump sum and having more than 3 months? I dont mean in a discounted way, its discounted enough. The only reason I ask is that it is easier for me to give lump sum when a bonus comes at work than getting the wife saying "whats this Â£7 for? One of your silly games? The kids need shoes first"

I have payed for a slot, still cant get on some server as they are apparently "Full" im using the game menu mod, with a few of my own changes tacked onto it.

Paid today, there were some problems with joining to server (it wrote server is full) but I think I can join with no problems now. If something appears again, Ill let you know.
