after the initial burst, i've tried logging on but it's basically empty...

Yeah Yeti, it's not very populated during the days. People do tend to join in the evenings, but never more then 10-15 (Unless ofcourse G makes an announcment). Best thing to do is probably to try and get a few friends to join you in the first place to get it populated, and then others will tag along. Group Chat usually has someone who wants to play.
