Hi! I'm (Utterly) Noobish and a total DODS addict. After rummaging through many a public servers i finally stumbled upon GTFO, and may I say - it was heaven. No quake sounds, well-managed and very intense gameplay. Since then I never play on any other servers, unless all of the GTFO ones are empty. Hopefully I can even afford to contribute one day and become a member! Until then I'll do my best to provide good gameplay to the servers. You'll most likely find me on Jagd/Colmar.

Hey,
Been lurking about in chat for a bit, and just noticed this

I'm Nathan, 27 and currently living in Brighton, south England. The first game system I had was some pong game that plugged into the back of the tv, and from there graduated to the speccy, nes and onwards. My online gaming career started with MUDs, then after I started coding for them I thought I'd try out some games with pictures

. I played TFC quite a bit, though it was my 4 year addiction to Wolfenstein Enemy Territory that honed my fps skills (or lack thereof).
Mostly playing TF2 atm on Lazytown or Badwater, though take a break every now and again to get ass kicked at dodgeball.

Offgame I'm a jobless ex web developer learning the ukulele and harmonica with hopes of someday making money out of music (hahahaha).

Love that dodgeball myself too though I'm not very good at it.

At 27 thought the 'pong' machine would be way before your time!! I have a similar background in systems spec +3, Amiga, Atari 520STe. Which was excellent for music apps.

Yeah, we never had any money so I was always at least a couple generations behind. My main computer was still my Amstrad 6128+ til 2001

Man, I loved that thing.

Thought I'd better sign up and say a quick hello..

Been enjoying playing on Lazytown for a while now, usually medic or pyro (with a backburner FTW!!! :wink:

)

Best server I've been on for many years, great guys playing, good team spirit, thats what its all about.

I come from Norfolk in the UK been playing TF since TF1 came out all those years ago, played Quake and Doom online before that, getting old now, the reactions are slowing down (thats my excuse)

Enjoying my games with you guys and hope it continues for a long time.
