Cool. Haven't played TF2 competitively yet so sounds like fun!

Look guys i think its a great initiative, and i dont want to come over as an asshole, but by coming with all these criteria (including practice) you are coming with the exact reasons why pub players dont play competitive. It requires you to dedicate a certain amount of time into it. Its not the jump right into action you can achieve by simply playing in a pub. If you are going to want pub players in matches just pick up whoever are online and work out the team. Good luck with it anyway, once again im not saying you should stop this initiative :)

Most of the people in the main team are regular players. So playing competitive is the next step for alot of us. For me personaly its a chance to see if i can make the step up to competive play.

We are playing for fun but we dont want to turn up and get owned hence the practices.

The main reason i never goto into competitive play in tf2 is becuase i belive its a game that needs alot of players to be fun. The main league which i belive is 5on5 wouldnt intrest me at all and i'd rather play on public servers.

But with 9v9 and a class limit of one it makes the game really fun and tactical, and you dont get the usal spam the chock points with pipes and rockets that you get on most public servers but theres enough players to keep it fun and action packed. It makes every class valuable part of the team.

Yep, Soldier is my main, and Demo and Spy are my 2nd and 3rd. Though I'm decent with a few other classes as well.

Well I am quite proud looking at GTFO's record that we're the only team to beat your highlander team over 2 maps - on this evidence you'll get very far in the tournament ;)

I would LOVE to do this, but I have to rule my self out as my computers unreliable at the moment in the heat. I can a days play out of it or 30 minutes, or any increment inbetween before the FPS drops to frames per minute :p Hopefully something like this will come up when I get my new PC< then you'd better know I'll be there with bells on!

Well, still no news on this highlander cup. I've been wanting to enter this for a while now - I may enter with people here(if that's alright). I am a regular on the servers themselves. Just going to see if someone I know(well could be one or two) is willing to enter first.
