Scoreboard with all 32 players visible

Found this on the steam forums but the original thread got deleted...

Download the attached file and put it in:
[Drive:][Path]\Steam\SteamApps\[accountname]\team fortress 2\tf\resource\ui

[Drive:][Path] depends on where you installed Steam (default is C:\Program Files\Valve)

- The ui folder doesn't exist by default. You have to create it!
- If the scoreboard gets updated by a patch, your modified one will be automatically deleted by steam.
- If you no longer want the modified scoreboard simply delete the file.

worked for me @ 1280x1024

looks nice. never knew why the scoreboard didn't display everyone originally.

AFAIK tf2 was designed for 24 players max...

I don't think it will appear naturally. TF2 has been designed with a max limit of 24 players.

Nice one. Cheers for that. Always wondered why they didn't just program it to do that. Not excatly a difficult thing to do on their part. Mind you, they aren't exactly known for sorting things out quickly if at all.

IÂ´ve just updated my server and saw that the scoreboard.res got updated with the scout patch. DonÂ´t know exactly what has been changed (not at my client pc right now) but iÂ´ve created a new modified version that should work fine.
The old one will most likely work too...but youÂ´ll probably miss new content/features...

Both versions are attached in the start posting...so you can try around and use whatever version you like.

According to the changelog itÂ´s probably the bonus points for the scout that got implemented:

Add bonus points section to scores

* Scouts earn a bonus point for killing Medics who are actively healing a target

cant get this to work for me , running 1680 x 1050 and put it in exact location as above but i cant see all 32 players :S

any suggestions

I bunged it in the ui folder and the resource folder to cover all bases, worked for me.

hm...the only thing i can think of that youÂ´ve missed the ui folder at the end. ItÂ´s not there by default and has to be created. If it doesnÂ´t work itÂ´s probably wrong placed. Do you have multiple account folders and picked the right one?
Resolution shouldnÂ´t be a problem as others have mentioned it works fine at 1680x1050.

I have never understood why valve haven't done this themselves yet, I know that the game was designed for a max of 24 players, but they have been releasing bugfixes specifically to ensure 32 player servers work - If they are supporting it then why not make this simple design change? Heck, make it only shrink the text and padding if there are more than 24 players on the server - then it can look like they originally intended unless otherwise needed.

It did not work at the beginning for me either. But I have created a new folder just as you said. And it works fine for me now and I use 1600x1200 resolution. â€“ Thank you sepp
