Skyrim vs Mission Runway

Russian Guyovitch is a really kind guy. He often comes on servers to spam a load of gifts. Around christmas he gave me a nice soldier hat. Around march he gave me Mission Runway, possibly one of the gayest games on steam. Today he was kind enough to gift me Skyrim, a game I've been lusting after, but can't really afford atm.

He made one provision though - I have to complete Mission Runway before I can play Skyrim. He also requested screenshot proof. With a game as epic as Mission Runway, I really can't keep it to myself, so I thought I paste some screenshots here, as proof, then I can play skyrim!

It's a bit buggy:

Those empty slots at the bottom are supposed to show what you can wear. Also lots of different coloured pattern designs that just change the design (you have to change to the right colour to match them).

I went again cos I wanna play skyrim!

I can't complete the game cos there isn't a bloody game! Each time I succeed it lands me back at the main menu, and it doesn't unlock anything - I can play any of these modes anytime! I'll do each mode and consider that being completed!

By the way, I took of my headset this time around and the awful music buzzing from my headphones was still annoying. Turned it off, it quit me out of the game!

I dunno how this is a hairstyle. Especially when I have a bloody hat on!.

I tried to go the uglyist design I could come up. Scraped through on the last one, surely if I just mess about I'll win this time.

Love what this says about fashion, that the worst crap you can throw together does better than something you thought was genuinely stylish.

Ballgown, ok. I can do that.

Really wanted some red shoes to go with the dress. Hardly any of the shoes seem to have a red option, but I was tempted to pick these just for the ugly = win factor.

This is the best you gonna get darling. Not really ballroom attire, but they are red(ish)!

Working out the menus a bit now. The invisible bits on the bottom bar are supposed to be the colour/style, but if there's no colour or style they just blanked out.

Thought I'd do some reading up on bad fashion tips. Read the wiki article on fashion faux pas, some 2009 telegraph article on how clashing colours are in, then got bored and watched some cat videos on youtube.

Office wear? Ok, time to design the most useless office wear ever!

Step one, skimpy swimwear. Saying that, turn up to an office in this and you'll probably get promoted.

Step two, tiny useless bag you could fit a phone and some makeup in, but nothing else.

Step three, big Russian hat (gonna get cold only wearing swim wear).

Step four, scarf and glasses covering up your features, so no one knows who that idiot turning up to the office in swimwear really is!

Yep, that all looks good. If I don't lose, this game is seriously broken.

GTFO kept timing out when I tried to upload the images so I hosted them on imageshack. On the plus side this means I can have more than 3 images per post .
I messed up most of these though. Though an otherwise amazing game, Mission Runway doesn't allow me to use f12 and take screenshots through steam, so have to print screen, alt tab, paste to paint, and I messed that up by not scrolling up.

I really wanna play skyrim. Judging by the stats most people are already, and I've watched a few videos to get a taste of it. I really really wanna play it now .



Ok, office theme. That's easy. Smart and sophisticated, I can do that.


This is happens when you click on black. That's not black.


That's more black, but sleeves are still grey. Don't have colour options if you just gonna ignore them.


Some smartish boring shoes (this was seriously the best I could find, and they still look a bit too snazzy).


Functional bag. I'm happy with this so far.


Then I clicked on makeup and found this as a foundation. Stylish classy setup ruined with the tiger face. Course I picked it.

That's really nice, and I've spent most of the day thinking about this (and installing skryim!). Tried mixing earlier and got jibed a lot for some of my fashion choices I made (buy the game if you think you do better - Gash, Crazyman, Coffin Stutter!)
I'm gonna get through on that office wear challege, then I'll skyrim. Losing same challenge 4 times in a row is unaccaptable.
I do plan to complete this game though, but now less urgency! Thanks again Russ!

It did haunt me. I've played around 10 hours of Skyrim now, all the while thinking "I really should redo that last bloody runway quest and be done with it", but they keep rejecting me!

Tonight I thought I'd just go for it. Think the Skyrim fashion design inspired me (sadly couldn't dress my office lady in metal armour ).


Office wear, blah blah blah. I know, I know already.


I'm not totally happy about these colours together. They work ok, but I'm a bit uneasy.


Really out on a limb here. Couple of pastels, vibrant blue, plus those black sleeves and cuffs (which I can't change if it's a formal jacket :/).

Messing around with medium heeled shoes, my choices are:


Rollerblades

OR


Slippers

I'll go with slippers.

Standing ovation? Is scoring just a random number generator? I would really love to look into the code of how they decide what fashion is.
