Not bad, wish I didnt have most of them though. Although I know there's some people who've had nothing new at all

You have a chance to get a item at set intervals, hence why you can be unlucky and play for 7 hours with nothing whilst someone can play for 3 and get 3 items. It's certainly not the best system and I'd rather have milestones, as the achievements seem as important as they are in L4D now and I quite enjoyed having something to look forward to whilst doing them.

They are totally random. You just play the game any class and you just get given a weapon free, old and new ones. (ones you already have too). You can even stay still in spawn and get them given to you.

The new system is bad, it's mainly for the n00bs and the new players who don't put in the time to do the achievements or are useless at the game. The achievement way was so much better, I felt like I earned my weapons and really liked doing the achievements. Now it feels like I have stolen or cheated to get my new weapons. :cry:

So far I've found

1x Ubersaw
3x Force-a-nature
1 x Blutsaugher
1 x Natascha
1x Cloak and dagger
1x Huntman :mrgreen:

One thing valve done right is the Bow and arrows. god I love it, I fallen back in love with sniper. Use to play him a lot when I first started playing the game.

Also why do I want 3x Force-a-nature? I hate scout don't play scout. :roll:

I got a Bonk energy drink, a sandman and a blutsauger. That means doubles so far.

I'm literally praying my ass off for a Hunstman... jarate... cloak&dagger.. anything in the new update really :cry:

Played for lots of hours yesterday, and about 4 today.

I really feel this is a stupid system, and valve should have implented the item swapping at the same time as releasing this.

Yeah, it's a real improvement, to play for ages only to be 'rewarded' with something you milestoned months ago :roll:

Making it even sillier, of course, is the fact that I mostly play Medic. Unless they have plans to let the Medic use Natasha, of course. That would be interesting... :mrgreen:

Update:
Been playing somewhere between 10 and 16 hours since the update, and so far i have found
1x Axtinguisher
1x Killing Gloves of Boxing
1x Flare gun
1x Force-a-Nature
1x Bonk!
and 2x The Blutsauger...

All of which i already had.

And i've been at a Lan party the weekend playing with some friends. And one of those friends played about 4 hours in total and got both new spy watches, and 2x Ambassador.

Almost shed a tear
